I am really enjoying your "Who am I?"questions & wish I had more time to answer them, or better yet discuss them over coffee.

After teaching high school worldview in a co-op setting for 4 years, I have grown to love being challenged by hard questions. I love the unfiltered version of these questions that come from youth. It helps us all to stop and really evaluate why we believe what we believe. It also helps to realize the topics we want to avoid or give angry responses to are often things we fear that need to be held up against the Word so we can be challenged and corrected when needed.

As far as race, I believe it truly is a social construct. We all come from Adam & Eve, so we actually all are the same race; we just have varying degrees of melanin. (I often wish I had more ;)

I like your questions about race vs ethnicity or culture. We do have differences based on where we are from and who we are surrounded by. I love that we have ethnic and cultural differences. Meeting others and learning about them is fascinating. I dislike when we elevate those differences to be our identity.
